During his residency from 2007 to 2010, Dr. Hipp completed rotations at the National Naval Medical Center (now Walter Reed), the NIH Clinical Center, and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, where he witnessed the resilience of young service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
